Hi and welcome!
You say that it re-arranges the movie? That's strange and no one ever reported this issue... :?:

Which profile are you using and what filetype are you converting from?
A debugLog and what settings you use would help a lot. Thanks!

Thanks for the log!

I tried to convert a 5GB movie with your settings by myself and couldn't find any erroneous behaviour. Playing it back just went fine.
There is also no indication in your log that it cuts the stream and repositions it. There has to be a special setting maybe in your Player software. Did you try to play it on different devices/players? Is the result always the faulty?

The stream just gets converted without any other processing, so this can't be the fault. Please check you settings and let me know if the error persists across devices/players. If so, please post a FULL log (see help file - output area opened).

Here is the full info... just to clarify the size of the file isn't an issue its the length of the video. i can encode 8-10 gig files with no problem its videos over 3 hrs long so its the play time that seems to be the only consistent factor for this problem. I have tried it in divx player and win media also on my phone (galaxy nexus) with the same results I tried to use pastebin but the file was to large so i had to cut out the middle frame conversion info but it looked fine i included anything that had errors.

Allright - I checked the conversion now.
I converted a 4+ h movie with your settings and no issues on my side. I really don't know what is causing your issue since there is no logical explanation why it should break conversion into two parts and stitch them together in different order... ???
In your debuglog there is also no hint on any misbehaviour during conversion. I regret I can't help you on this.

You can try the following things:
  • Install it on another PC and check if the issue persists.
  • Install it portable on an USB stick.
  • Try to convert it with original settings and see if it works
  • Convert the stream manually on commandline and see if the output also is erratic:
    Code: Select all
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\MC-TVConverter\tools\ffmpeg\ffmpeg.exe" -y -i "M:\Recorded TV\NBA Basketball_CSNWHD2_2012_11_14_00_30_00.wtv" -deinterlace -f avi -vcodec mpeg4 -vtag DIVX -qscale 6 -s 720x400 -b 1142k -r 23 -acodec libmp3lame -ar 48000 -ab 124k -ac 2 -async 48000 -vol 380 "M:\Videos\NBA Basketball_CSNWHD2_2012_11_14_00_30_00.wtv.avi"

Let me know if one of these helps.
