MC-TV v2.1.0 can't find Java (Win 7)

Postby mikecollins1a » 4. Dec 2012, 15:00

I have sucessfully used MC-TV Converter on a WinXP laptop, but converting the same file on a Win7 desktop failed with a very small output file (happens on some, but not all files). I have noticed in the log (http://pastebin.com/UDWTehb0) that MC-TV is failing to find Java.exe. I have downloaded the latest version of Java and un-installed and re-installed MC-TV to no avail.
Any ideas what might be wrong ?

Hi!
The new version of JAVA installs in another location than previous versions that's why automatic detection fails.
Please set the path to java.exe manually in mctvc settings (tab: "system").

Thanks!

Thank you for your help. I guess I should have found that setting myself. Conversions are now working OK.
